About the role:
  1. Under the direction of the Controller, assist in leading the Analysis team to ensure that all underlying Balance Sheet financial transactions are recorded in an effective accurate and timely manner in accordance with all local statute and relevant GAAP (US / CN / IFRS) pronouncements.
  2. Assist in overseeing the production and delivery of the monthly U.S. GAAP financial statements, ensuring they are performed in a timely, effective, accurate, and efficient manner to meet all reporting deliverables. Collaborate and liaise with cross-functional teams, in particular Finance Planning & Analysis team, to ensure the appropriate period end financial close process is completed effectively and in an efficient manner.
  3. Analyze company’s financial risks and potential exposure through rigorous review of the financials and address any potential impacts to the company’s financial performance; supervise analyses to drive financial performance by identifying new opportunities through business intelligence; providing insight into operational and financial historical and prospective trends.
  4. Motivate, develop, and lead the team by demonstrating our core basic Global Walmart values in daily interactions. Work with the Controller to continuously assess and monitor talent development, by providing challenging learning opportunities to foster professional growth.


Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree on Finance, accounting or economics. Master in respective areas a plus, CPA.
  • Strong in accounting policies for CN GAAP, US GAAP or IFRS. Robust accounting knowledge in practice.
  • Great communication abilities across teams in both Chinese and English.
  • Strong executive presence and influencing skills.
  • Be familiar with internal control processes and accounting related standards/regulations.
  • Strong Mandarin and English communication and writing skills.
  • 10+ years’ experience in finance/accounting. At least 3 years of management experience.
