Your new role
- Execute the EV battery global business strategy with an efficient implementation plan in the APAC team.
- Strong capability in new business development with well-designed development plan including all diversified market dynamics in focusing on the APAC market and with deep interactions with APAC countries.
- Efficient and effective collaboration with key stakeholders to identify tailor-made solutions to build a project pipeline.
- Achieve annual sales & margin growth targets aligned with new product and new market development.
- Leading the APAC EV Battery business with an aligned NBD goal to secure sustainable business growth.
- Launching the EV Battery market transparency in the APAC market with specific market analysis based on the dynamic market situation in each country in AAC, together with a clear target market and well-defined market position, with further exploration of the APAC market.
- Management of a healthy and diverse project portfolio (pipeline).
- Achievement of selected milestones specific to new product development related to those applications.
- Creation of new insights in the marketplace through partnership with R&D.
- Development of global key accounts in the battery market.
- Responsible for YOY revenue growth according to GBU targets.
What you'll need to succeed
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Technical field is required (Chemistry, Engineering). MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful Business Development or Product Management or related experience.
- Proven experience working through matrix organisation, a strong cross culture mindset, pushing global initiatives into the marketplace.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English with a strong understanding of various communication methods.
- I must possess a positive, “can do” attitude with an assertive engagement mentality and illustrate good external and internal collaboration.
- Excellent personal and interpersonal working skills.
- Must be proficient in MS Office, Salesforce, LinkedIn, web-site navigation, and CRM software.
- The ability to travel 40% of the time (including regular overnight travel as needed).
