Your new role

• Lead and manage the product development process from concept to market launch.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, marketing, sales, and production to ensure product alignment with market needs and company strategy.
• Oversee technical documentation and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct technical training for sales and customer service teams to enhance their product knowledge.
• Analyse market trends and competitive products to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Manage technical issues and customer complaints, working closely with the quality control team to implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and industry partners to ensure access to the latest materials and technologies.
• Prepare technical presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

• Master's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in product development or a related role within the paint and coatings industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of paint formulation and manufacturing processes.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant technical software.
