Your new company is the leading provider of single-walled carbon nanotube globally. The Group has created innovations in the production process for advanced nanomaterials, which is a universal additive with a wide variety of applications in many areas of materials. In addition to manufacturing advanced nanomaterials, the company is developing and launching technologies for the manufacturing of new products in various areas of applications of advanced nanomaterials, as for instance in polymers, composites, thermoplastics, elastomers, energy storage (Li-ion batteries) and coatings.
YOUR NEW ROLE
Production Process Engineer is a part of your new company China’s Production team to support and work together with production manager to fulfill OEM production orders by delivering products based on single wall carbon nanotubes for all of the end applications. The main products of the company are advanced nanomaterials powder, advanced nanomaterials concentrates, and advanced nanomaterials suspensions. To implement OEM production by following standard process and QC method, and meet growing sales order is a key request to the candida. This position will report to Production Manager China. The work involves solid cooperation and communications with PD/R&D/Quality/Sales/OEM partners, to full -fill global commercial orders from China OEMs/License factory.
YOUR MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY
Production Transfer to China OEM:
1.Coordinate product transfers with PD, R&D, Quality, and Sales teams.
2.Conduct on-site checks and monitoring at OEM sites to ensure adherence to SOPs and quality standards.
3.Manage documentation, including collecting packages from PD/R&D and handling BOM & Assembly Item setups for new and existing products.
4.Oversee process training, setup, monitoring, and validation/trial activities.
5.Develop FlowCharts, PFMEAs, and supporting documentation for control plans, and manage SOP/Manual releases and updates.
Production Process Deviation Change Management:
1.Collaborate with PD, Quality, Production, and OEM partners to manage product deviation changes effectively.
2.Initiate change requests covering materials, methods, equipment, processes, and environments.
3.Handle validation plans, trials, and the summarization/analysis of results.
4.Update manuals/SOPs as needed for deviations and record all activities in Unipoint for approval processes.
Mass Production Process Control and Improvement:
1.Work with R&D, Production, and OEM teams to enhance production processes, focusing on efficiency and quality improvements.
2.Monitor daily OEM process statuses and perform on-site production checks.
3.Collaborate with the quality team on CPK, process stability assessments, and improvements.
4.Manage customer complaints related to the process and report on process control and optimization initiatives.
CORE SKILLS
At least 5 years plant experience in the area of chemical materials production, audit or
quality management. Familiar with production workflow and quality management.
Knowledge of chemical safety management and process control practices.
• Minimum Bachelor degree, preferably in Chemistry Engineering or Materials Science.
• Interpersonal skills, self-driven proactive skills with ability to challenge himself;
• Analytical thinking, good communication skills, team-player;
• High energy and resilience; results oriented person;
• Excellent Chinese and fluent English;
• Basic IT skills;
• Willing to travel in China; can accept the travelling rate of around 60%.
