My client is an American company with a history of more than 70 years. It is a leading supplier of conveyor belts and conveyor equipment products, and its customers include global food processors, manufacturers and e-commerce companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Sales Manager on the
Packer to Palletizer
(P2P)
Team for
the
APAC region - Develop and manage commercial relationships with new & existing packaging related contacts at focus food industry and/or FMCG customers
- Support sales managers at our focus food and/or FMCG industry accounts by presenting solutions and supporting service packages.
- Understand customer challenges and decision criteria for layout solutions in packer to palletizer area.
- Obtain input from the customer about their drivers for new back-end installations, qualify opportunities.
- Develop layout concepts & budget proposals with selling team and present to customer. Make use of customized tools using templates in Demo3D simulation software and AutoCAD.
- Liaise between customer project team, system Integrators and company. Ensure solution specifications are correctly implemented.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- 5+ years of working experience in the field. Proven industrial sales experience with solid commercial skills. Experience in selling in the food industry and selling conveyor systems are desired.
- The ability to travel extensively is essential (approx. 50%).
- Positive, confident outlook along with an entrepreneurial, problem-solving personality.
- A passion for learning and growth along with the willingness and ability to be self-managed and the acceptance of personal responsibility for results.
- An interest and aptitude in technical industrial processes and conveyance.
- Proven record calling on plant and corporate level decision makers.
- Excellent communicator both in Chinese and English, and team player.
- Affinity with design software.
