Recommend your friend to us and receive a RMB 1000 JD gift voucher for a successful referral.

Every month we reward hundreds of people for recommending their friends to Hays China. If you recommend your friend to us and they pass their probation once placed into work, you will receive a RMB1000 JD gift voucher .

Before you get started in submitting your friend’s details, please make sure you read the Hays China Refer a Friend terms and conditions and remember to let your friend know that we will be contacting them. Hays China Refer a Friend Scheme

The Hays China Refer a Friend Scheme, Terms & Conditions of Hays China Refer a Friend Scheme and the Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties. In the event of conflict between this Refer a Friend Scheme and the terms and conditions, the terms and conditions shall prevail.

• Campaign period: From now on to February 9th, 2025.

• If the referee info is already in Hays candidate database and the updated data/action was put in within 6 months’ time, then this will be deemed as an invalid referral.

• The Refer a Friend Scheme IS NOT OPEN to Hays employees and headhunters working for recruitment agencies other than Hays.

• Referrals must be made to Hays through the web form before or at registration (of the referred candidate) - referrals made at a later stage, or in any other way may not be valid. It is essential that any referrals made to Hays on the phone or via email are also registered through the website at the time you refer them if you wish to take advantage of this scheme.

• To qualify for a reward, your referred friend must be referred within the campaign period and placed within six (6) months upon registration.

• We can only accept referrals for people already working in mainland China, or those who are eligible to work in mainland China.

• If your friend is successfully placed by Hays and passes their probation, you will be eligible for your reward of RMB1000 JD voucher after your friend starts a permanent position and passes the probation period.

• At the same time, we will reward the 5th, 15th, 25th, 35th, 45th and 55th users who successfully submit a valid referral form with a gift card worth RMB 50, totaling RMB 300. A valid form is defined as one that has complete information about the referrer and the referee, and the referee is in need of employment in the near future.

• Once your friend successfully completes their probation, please contact Hays local office to receive your reward. Then Hays will need to collect further information from you, including but not limited your full name, nationality, gender, ID number, mobile phone number, etc., for tax purposes before Hays’ delivery of your reward.

• You shall ensure that you have acquired the explicit consent of your referred friend and all parties (including your referred friend and yourself) have read, understood, and accepted the terms and conditions, Privacy Policy, before your submission of the referral.

• Hays’ decision is final in case of any disputes.

How can I refer my friends and claim my voucher once they have been placed in a role by Hays?

Submit your details, plus the details of your friend here. If your friend is successfully placed into a role and meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the refer a friend terms & conditions, then you will receive a reward of RMB1000 JD voucher by email from Hays local office.

Will I be notified if the person I referred gets a job?

You will be notified and sent your reward of RMB1000 JD voucher once the person you referred has been placed into a role and meets the eligibility criteria outlined in the refer a friend terms & condition. However, we cannot provide progress updates of your friend’s job search.

What is the eligibility criteria for receiving the reward of RMB1000 JD voucher?

If your friend is successfully placed in a role within 6 months of registration and passes their probation period, you will be entitled to the reward of RMB1000 JD voucher.

What happens once I submit the details of my friend?

We will contact you to confirm that both you and your friend meet the eligibility criteria of the ‘refer a friend’ campaign.

Once we have successfully confirmed the details of you and your friend, we will contact your friend and assist them in landing either a new permanent role in mainland China.
